Notes

'Magnolia Flower' peony (Paeonia 'Magnolia Flower') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Prof. Arthur Percy Saunders bred it in 1949. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. The light pink blooms have a yellow center and a sweet scent, and they attract butterflies and bees.

Pairs well with Royal Standard hosta, Standing Ovation little bluestem, Carlton daffodil, and Polish Spirit clematis.
