Notes

'Majestic Yellow' peony (Paeonia 'Majestic Yellow') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The large double yellow blooms are fragrant and attract butterflies and bees. Stems bend under the weight of the big flowers, so give them support. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. Swenson Gardens bred it.

Pairs well with Hosta, Standing Ovation little bluestem, Picture tulip, and Lanceleaf coreopsis.
