Notes

'Majesty’s Bonnet' peony (Paeonia 'Majesty’s Bonnet') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Roger F. Anderson bred it. Fragrant pink semi-double flowers open on upright stems that stand 24 inches tall without support. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. Butterflies and bees visit the blooms.

Pairs well with Sum and Substance hosta, Lanceleaf coreopsis, Standing Ovation little bluestem, and Picture tulip.
