Notes

'Marchioness of Lansdowne' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Marchioness of Lansdowne') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Kelway bred it. The large, double rose-pink blooms have a slight salmon tint and open full and flat in mid to late spring. The stems are fairly strong, and the plant blooms freely.

Pairs well with Wild ginger, Sedge, Ostrich fern, and Grape hyacinth.
