Notes

'Marie Lemoine' peony (Paeonia 'Marie Lemoine') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. The large double blooms start lemon-white, age to pure white, and smell richly fragrant. Jacques Calot bred it, and good air flow helps guard against disease. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal.

Pairs well with Rainforest Sunrise hosta, Black Hero tulip, and Western sword fern.
