Notes

'Marie Simon' ceanothus (Ceanothus pallidus 'Marie Simon') is a shrub for borders, hedges, and xeriscape. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. The pale pink blooms are fragrant and draw butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and birds. It blooms in early to late summer and again in early to late autumn.

Pairs well with Blue grama, Lemon thyme, and Ocean spray.
