Notes
'Marietta Sisson' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Marietta Sisson') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Large, fragrant, double flowers open light pink with fuchsia shading in mid to late spring. They sit on medium to tall stems that reach about 31 to 33 inches. Hans Peter Sass bred it.
Pairs well with Goldsturm black-eyed Susan, Picture tulip, and Rose.
