Notes
'Marilyn Monroe' hosta (Hosta 'Marilyn Monroe') is a perennial for shade gardens, borders, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade and average moisture. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. It blooms from early to late summer, and the flowers are fragrant. Bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds visit the blooms.
Pairs well with White phlox, Alertie peony, and Canada wild rye.
