Notes

'Markham's Pink' clematis (Clematis 'Markham's Pink') is a vine for borders and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. Pink blooms with lighter edges open in early to late spring and attract butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees. Ernest Markham bred it. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first.

Pairs well with Downy clematis, Dawn viburnum, and Festiva Maxima peony.
