Notes
'Mary B. Vories' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Mary B. Vories') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The large double flowers are pure white with creamy depths and a few crimson splashes in the round center. They open late in spring and have a faint, sweet fragrance. Judge Laurence A. Vories bred it.
Pairs well with Maltese cross, Sedge, and Grape hyacinth.
