Notes

White mugwort (Artemisia lactiflora) is a perennial for borders and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. Creamy white flowers appear in early to late summer and again in early to late autumn, and butterflies visit the blooms. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. Once settled in, the plant is drought tolerant.

Pairs well with Red Charm peony, Sensitive fern, and Cheerfulness daffodil.

Central Asia and Asia.
