Notes

'Meteore' montbretia (Crocosmia crocosmiiflora 'Meteore') is a bulb for borders, containers, and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. It blooms in early to late summer and again in early to late autumn, and butterflies, hummingbirds, and birds visit the flowers. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. It also tolerates drought and salt.

Pairs well with Anzac daylily, Yarrow, and Black-eyed Susan.
