Notes

'Midnight' cut-leaf kittentail (Veronica 'Midnight') is a perennial for borders, cottage gardens, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Deep blue flowers appear in spring, summer, and autumn. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. Butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and birds visit it, and it is drought tolerant.

Pairs well with Blue fescue, Karl Rosenfield peony, and Lily.
