Notes
'Mihata' tree peony (Paeonia suffruticosa 'Mihata') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Sakata & Co. introduced it in 1931. Cut a few stems for a vase and enjoy the blooms indoors.
Pairs well with Japanese spirea, Blue fescue, and Cinnamon fern.
