Notes

'Miss Geraldine' peony (Paeonia 'Miss Geraldine') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. The blooms open in early to late spring with a cream base, rose-red edges, and dark red flares. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. Butterflies visit the flowers, and Derek Irvine bred this cultivar.

Pairs well with Mock orange, Lily, and The President clematis.
