Notes

'Miss Lingard' thickleaf phlox (Phlox Carolina 'Miss Lingard') is a perennial for borders, cottage gardens, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to wet, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It forms a clump and grows at a moderate rate. Fragrant flowers open in spring and again in summer, and they draw butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees.

Pairs well with Blue wild indigo, Little bluestem, and Joe-pyeweed.
