Notes
'Miya-kini-haru' tree peony (Paeonia suffruticosa 'Miya-kini-haru') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. A Japanese breeder developed it. Cut a few stems for a vase, or let it anchor a mixed bed.
Pairs well with Smooth hydrangea, Blue fescue, and Cinnamon fern.
