Notes
'Moccachino' astilbe (Astilbe rosea 'Moccachino') is a perennial for borders, containers, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun. Creamy white flower spikes arch above dark green to chocolate-bronze leaves in early to late summer. Deer rarely make it their first choice. Bees visit the blooms.
Pairs well with Sarah Bernhardt peony, Ostrich fern, and Lamb’s ear.
