Notes
'Moned' lagerstroemia (Lagerstroemia indica 'Moned') is a shrub for use as a specimen, hedge, privacy screen, or pollinator garden. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to wet, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Deer usually look elsewhere for a meal. It blooms from early to late summer and draws butterflies and bees. The dense shrub grows quickly and is drought tolerant.
Pairs well with Blue star, Little bluestem, and Boxwood.
