Notes
'Moon Blossom' tree peony (Paeonia suffruticosa 'Moon Blossom') is a shrub for borders, perennial beds, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. It grows upright to about 60 inches tall. Single flowers open in early spring, pale lavender at first and then fading to white, with purple flares at the center. The blooms are fragrant.
Pairs well with Mock orange, Hardy geranium, and Ostrich fern.
