Notes

'Morning Star' peony (Paeonia 'Morning Star') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The fragrant cream blooms have crimson flecks and attract butterflies and bees. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. Arthur Percy Saunders bred it.

Pairs well with First Frost hosta, Spiked speedwell, Annabelle hydrangea, and Nodding onion.
