Notes

'Morton' American elm (Ulmus 'Morton') is a tree for specimen use and shade. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full sun and average moisture. Small green flowers open in early to mid spring. The leaves change color in fall. It can reach 50 to 60 feet tall, so give it plenty of space to spread.

Pairs well with Autumn Gold maidenhair tree, Royal fern, and White trillium.
