New Horizon American elm

Garden uses

Notes

'New Horizon' American elm (Ulmus 'New Horizon') is a tree for specimen use and shade garden settings. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil. It grows 30 to 40 feet tall and 20 to 25 feet wide, so give it plenty of room. Small blooms appear in early to late spring.

Pairs well with Hinoki cypress, First Frost hosta, and Cinnamon fern.
