Notes
'Mrs. A.E. Kunderd' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Mrs. A.E. Kunderd') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The full double flowers are salmon pink with deeper pink inside. A small cup forms in the center, and some petals have a bright crimson edge. Stahly introduced it, and it blooms in mid to late spring.
Pairs well with Rainbow's End hosta, Ostrich fern, and Picture tulip.
