'Mrs. Love' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Mrs. Love') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Rolph bred it, and it comes back each year in the garden. Cut the stems for a vase when you want blooms indoors. Plant it where it can stay put, since peonies like to grow in one spot for years.
Pairs well with Purrsian Blue nepeta, Cheerfulness daffodil, Blonde Ambition blue grama, and Christmas fern.
