Notes

'Mu Se Jin Long' peony (Paeonia 'Mu Se Jin Long') is a shrub for borders, cottage gardens, specimen plantings, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. Fragrant, single, deep red flowers open in early to late spring above finely cut green foliage. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. Butterflies visit the blooms.

Pairs well with Lady's mantle, Blue fescue, Lily, and Sweet William.
