Notes

'Multijuga' Japanese wisteria (Wisteria floribunda 'Multijuga') is a rapid-growing, climbing vine. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Fragrant violet blooms appear in early to late spring. Deer usually look elsewhere for a meal. Give it a strong support, since it climbs quickly.

Pairs well with Royal fern, Gladiator ornamental onion, and Buffalo grass.
