Notes

'My Mary' rhododendron (Rhododendron 'My Mary') is a shrub for borders, specimen planting, shade gardens, and woodland settings. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun to full shade and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It stays evergreen and bears fragrant yellow blooms with an orange tube in early to late spring. Butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees visit the flowers. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything.

Pairs well with Oakleaf hydrangea, Japanese forest grass, Autumn fern, and Sum and Substance hosta.
