Notes

'Myosotis' common hyacinth (Hyacinthus orientalis 'Myosotis') is a bulb for borders, containers, and rock gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. The large, sky blue flowers are fragrant and open in early to late spring. This is a late forcing hyacinth, and bees visit the blooms.

Pairs well with Pink Impression tulip, Obsidian coral bells, and Sedge.
