Notes

'Nana' spiked speedwell (Veronica spicata 'Nana') is a perennial for borders, rock gardens, cottage gardens, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist, loamy soil. Deep blue flower spikes open from early to late summer and draw butterflies and bees. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. This clumping plant stays 6 to 9 inches tall.

Pairs well with Hosta, Ice Follies daffodil, Hansa rose, and Claire de Lune peony.
