Notes
'Nestor' prostrate speedwell (Veronica prostrata 'Nestor') is a perennial for ground cover, borders, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. Light blue flowers open in early to late spring and again in early to late summer. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. It is also drought tolerant.
Pairs well with Sedge, Mountain mint, and Gladiolus.
