Notes

'Nicky' garden phlox (Phlox paniculata 'Nicky') is a perennial for borders, cottage gardens, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. Fragrant blooms open from early to late summer. They draw butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees. Deer usually look elsewhere for a meal.

Pairs well with White Swan coneflower, Gardenview Scarlet spotted beebalm, Album culver’s root, and Moerheim Beauty sneezeweed.
