Notes
'Oklahoma Formula Mix Improved' zinnia (Zinnia elegans 'Oklahoma Formula Mix Improved') is an annual for borders, cut flowers, and pollinator gardens. Frost will kill it, so set it out only after the last frost in spring. This plant likes full sun and dry to average, loamy soil. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything. The bright blooms last well in a vase and attract butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees. It grows fast, stands erect, and reaches 30 to 40 inches tall.
Pairs well with Sensation cosmos, Sungold sunflower, and Cerise Queen yarrow.
