Notes

'Old Faithful' peony (Paeonia 'Old Faithful') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. The double red blooms are fragrant, last well when cut, and open late for a hybrid. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits. Bees and butterflies visit the flowers.

Pairs well with August Moon hosta, Incrediball Storm Proof smooth hydrangea, and Black Hero tulip.
