Notes

'Old Forge' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Old Forge') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Its rose-pink double flowers are medium sized and sit on long, strong stems. The crown is high and built up, and the plant grows tall and upright. Ernest Flint Kelsey bred it.

Pairs well with Francee hosta, Incrediball hydrangea, and Sedge.
