Notes

'Omega Rubra' peony (Paeonia 'Omega Rubra') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The dense, bright crimson double flowers are fragrant and draw butterflies and bees. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. William Henry Krekler bred it.

Pairs well with Guacamole hosta, Yarrow, Standing Ovation little bluestem, and Polish Spirit clematis.
