Notes

'Onondaga' sargent viburnum (Viburnum sargentii 'Onondaga') is a shrub for borders, specimen planting, and hedges. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. It blooms in spring and again in summer, and it draws butterflies, hummingbirds, and birds. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything. Once settled in, it is drought tolerant.

Pairs well with Mock orange, Blue fescue, Queen of Night tulip, and Cora Louise peony.
