Notes

'Oread' peony (Paeonia 'Oread') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. Its semi-double, pale pink blooms open from early to late spring, and each stem carries one bud. Plants grow 4 to 5 feet tall with good stem strength.

Pairs well with Catmint, Maltese cross, and Royal Purple smoketree.
