Notes

'Overdam' feather reed grass (Calamagrostis acutiflora 'Overdam') is a grass for borders, perennial beds, accents, and rain gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to wet soil of most types. It grows 36 to 48 inches tall and has pinkish green blooms that birds visit. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits. Use it where you want a tidy upright clump.

Pairs well with Toad lily, Ostrich fern, and Stargazer lily.
