Notes

Pacific reedgrass (Calamagrostis nutkaensis) is a grass for borders, low maintenance beds, and woodland gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to wet soil of most types. It stays evergreen, tolerates drought and salt, and draws butterflies and birds. Deer usually look elsewhere for a meal. Its clumps reach about 35 to 59 inches tall.

Pairs well with Ocean spray, California huckleberry, and Douglas fir.
