Notes

'Pal' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Pal') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. It grows into a glossy bush up to 30 inches tall. Double light pink blooms with silvery shading open in early summer. William Henry Krekler bred it in 1977.

Pairs well with False Solomon's seal, Sedge, Picture tulip, and Incrediball Storm Proof smooth hydrangea.
