Notes

'Papaveracea Alba Plena' tree peony (Paeonia suffruticosa 'Papaveracea Alba Plena') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Its woody stems stay above ground through winter, so it grows into a shrub over time.

Pairs well with Lenten rose, Greig's tulip, Balloon flower, and Prairie dropseed.
