Notes

'Party Dress' peony (Paeonia 'Party Dress') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and rock gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The fragrant, single fuchsia-pink blooms have golden-yellow centers and open almost flat above compact, clean, medium green foliage. Krekler Peony Farm introduced it in 1985. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first.

Pairs well with Dancing Queen hosta, American Gold Rush black-eyed Susan, Black Hero tulip, and Western sword fern.
