Notes

'Pasteur' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Pasteur') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The large double flowers have pale pink outer petals and curled, almost white center petals. They are faintly fragrant and bloom freely on stout stems. François-Félix Crousse bred it.

Pairs well with False Solomon's seal, Ostrich fern, and Grape hyacinth.
