Notes

'Peach Strudel' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Peach Strudel') is a perennial for borders, cut flower gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Medium pink petals surround a golden-yellow center in late spring. The blooms have a slight fragrance, and the guard petals hold the flower shape. Roy G. Klehm bred it, and it grows 28 to 30 inches tall.

Pairs well with White trillium, Ostrich fern, Sedge, and Hairy aster.
