Notes

'Peakeep' butterfly bush (Buddleja davidii 'Peakeep') is a shrub for borders, cottage gardens, pollinator gardens, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. The arching form grows fast and reaches 3 to 5 feet tall and wide. Lavender and pink blooms are fragrant and draw butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything.

Pairs well with Clary sage, Black Baccara rose, and Casa Blanca lily.
