Notes

'Pelham' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Pelham') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Edward Auten, Jr bred it. The white double flowers are flushed flesh and pale yellow, with narrow petals in the center. They smell of rose and open in early to mid summer on tall, stiff stems.

Pairs well with Christmas fern, Picture tulip, and Apricotta cosmos.
