Notes

'Petite' peony (Paeonia 'Petite') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and rock gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Its small, semi-double flowers are a glossy, rich red, and butterflies and bees visit the blooms. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. Lyman D. Glasscock bred it.

Pairs well with Stella de Oro daylily, Big Daddy hosta, and Blonde Ambition blue grama.
