Notes

'Piazza View' peony (Paeonia 'Piazza View') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. Light yellow blooms with red flares open in early to late spring and draw butterflies. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. Derek Irvine bred it in 2001.

Pairs well with May Night salvia, Astilbe, and Blue fescue.
