Notes

'Picasso' peony (Paeonia 'Picasso') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. The coral flowers have cream shading, dark red flares, and a large boss of stamens. John and Dot McFarlane introduced it in 2000. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits.

Pairs well with May Night salvia, Blue fescue, and Clematis.
